Workmanship warranty coverage varies depending on the roofing system, materials used, and scope of work performed. Any workmanship warranty offered for your project, including its duration, coverage, and applicable conditions, will be specified in your written contract.

Manufacturer warranties are separate from workmanship warranties and are subject to the applicable manufacturer’s terms, conditions, and eligibility requirements.

Workmanship Warranty Exclusions

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly covered by the written contract, workmanship warranty coverage does not extend to problems caused by:

• Defects in roofing materials covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
• Severe weather, fallen trees, fire, or other events outside our control.
• Modifications or damage caused by other contractors, including solar installers.
• Lack of maintenance, misuse, or excessive foot traffic.
• Pre existing structural conditions or building movement.

Owens Corning offers Limited Lifetime warranty coverage on their popular architectural shingles. When installed as a complete system, coverage can include extended non prorated protection for up to 50 years depending on the system tier. For California Title 24 compliance, Owens Corning features the Duration® Cool shingle line, delivering high solar reflectance without sacrificing beauty.

GAF®

Qualifying GAF Lifetime Shingles carry a Lifetime Limited Warranty, with enhanced tiers providing up to a 50-year Smart Choice protection period on complete systems. Depending on the complete system design, substrate conditions, and multi ply configuration, Polyglass offers commercial grade manufacturer system warranties stretching up to 15 or 20 years.

Important: The Polyfresko® warranty applies to the qualifying roofing system and is subject to Polyglass warranty terms and requirements. 

Please note: All manufacturer warranties apply strictly to qualifying materials and systems, and are subject to the respective manufacturer’s transfer and solar installation rules.

Please note that standard manufacturer warranties cover basic material defects. Upgrading to a full, extended system level manufacturer warranty involves an additional cost.
